If you are new to agriculture, or are worried that your land is not as suitable as it once may have for hedgehogs and other wildlife a variety of beneficial management actions can be put in place, and following particular actions could mean that you are granted money for the care of our wildlife. Countryside Stewardship and Environmental Stewardship schemes are run by Rural Payment Affairs, DEFRA Natural England and may provide biannual income for farmers following their wildlife management guidance.
